Virtual Virginia provides the opportunity for students enrolled in VVa courses to participate in various student clubs and organizations across the subject areas.
The Latin Club is open to any Virtual Virginia Latin student at any level of Latin study. There are no dues and no requirements for attendance. The club meets via Elluminate. Presenters have included Latin students, college professors and Virtual Virginia teachers as well as a steering committee member of the National Latin Exam.

VVa's Modern World Languages Club is a club for students studying Chinese, French and Spanish. The club offers students the unique opportunity to learn more about the cultures associated with these modern world languages as well as encourages an awareness and appreciation of other cultures in the global community. Monthly meetings focus on cultural topics from one language per month.

Members of this organization are chosen for their accomplishments in English and their overall academic achievement. Throughout the year, members meet online through synchronous meetings and discussion boards to engage in intellectual discourse concerning literature and their unique written works. Professional guest speakers share their knowledge of literature, writing, and related careers. Members also participate in community-service projects developed by the Virtual Virginia chapter.

The Virtual Virginia Social Studies Club provides an opportunity for students to meet to discuss items of interest that pertain to any of the social studies or social sciences courses offered by Virtual Virginia. Activities include discussion forums, games, and real-time web conference sessions with guest speakers.
